Ayshia Lorette, RMT, graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2014. She has experience working with a wide variety of patients including UBC’s Track & Field Team, marathon runners, pre and post natal women, and individuals with neurological, motor, and panic disorders. As a competitive athlete for many years, Ayshia understands that massage therapy is an integral part of injury prevention, rehabilitation, and overall health. Through Ayshia’s active listening skills, she is able to work with patients to create the most effective treatment tailored to their needs. Her compassionate and holistic approach to massage therapy blends her therapeutic knowledge with the natural healing power of the human body to create a unique and soothing treatment. Using a light to moderate pressure, Ayshia’s treatment style is fluid, grounding, and calming – she incorporates Swedish relaxation, trigger point therapy, myofascial release and gentle therapeutic stretching. She also studied Vedic wisdom under the guidance of Yogrishi Vishvketu at Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram in the foothills of the Himalayas where she received her advanced yoga teacher training.

When she’s not working, you can find Ayshia walking her rescue dog and enjoying everything Vancouver’s west side has to offer.
